I am currently looking for undergraduate/graduate students interested in physics and engineering for projects and diploma thesis in theoretical as well as experimental photon optics: quantum computers, precise measurements, and quantum imaging. Particularly, there are several open research projects including optimal quantum measurement and reconstruction, linear-optics quantum gates and programmable gates based on multi-photon interference, high-sensitivity coherent measurement, custom optics and optomechanics design and characterization, improving single-photon detector sensitivity and photon-number resolution. The theme of your thesis can be choosen from the presented theses >>>, modified, or arranged from scratch. You can join our group, learn new things, improve your skills, and gain advantage in any stage of your study. You can present your work on international conferences and cooperate with groups over the World. Please, do not hesitate and contact me >>> jezek(AT)optics.upol.cz for further information or if you are interested in cooperation with our group. |
