Basic undergraduate courses cover Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics. The work of the students is assessed by regular examinations each term. Advanced level courses are oriented to special subjects. The undergraduates obtain the degree BSc. after the BSc. exams. The M.Sc. level can be obtained after extensive examination and acceptance of a diploma thesis. The graduate studies program is scheduled for 3 years. Students are receiving scholarship. They are concentrating on their research projects. After a rigorous examination and a successful defending the thesis they are awarded by doctor's degree (PhD.). The courses for BSc. degree include:

     Courses for BSc. and MSc. are taught in Czech language. For graduate students the partial knowledge of Czech is recommended but not necessary, since the courses may also be offered in English. On the other hand for special undergraduate or graduate laboratory work and for thesis English is necessary. Approximate numbers of students:

     For the Basic undergraduate and Advanced undergraduate courses may apply only the students with sufficient knowledge of Czech language, because the lectures are read in Czech. Interested students may apply for any part of the curriculum. The full list of courses written in Czech will be mailed them. Possible subjects are given above. For the Graduate courses and research the basic knowledge of Czech language is recommended but not necessary. English tutoring can be provided.

     Examinations for the undergraduate courses are held in January-February and May-June in the winter and summer terms, respectively. The grades 1 (best), 2, 3 and 4 (unsuccessful) are used, but evaluation using percentage or grading which rates the student in the top in % can be supplied as well. Certificates of satisfactory attendance at particular courses will be provided.
