Zdenek Hradil
(1960, married, two children) graduated in the mathematical physics on the
Charles University at 1983. He finished the postgradual studies of quantum
optics on Palacký University in 1991 (supervisor prof. J. Perina).
Currently he stays with the Department
of Optics, Palacký University. He is the head of department and
scientific secretary of the Research Center for Optics. He reads the lectures
from wave optics and quantum theory. His research experience include the
fields of theoretical quantum optics, nonlinear optics, quantum theory
of measurement, interferometry, quantum estimation and tomography, quantum
information and fundamental aspects of quantum theory. He stayed as the visiting
scientist at Dipartimento di Energetica, La Sapienza, Roma, Institut de
Physique Theorique, EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland and Atominstitut der Österreichischen
Universitaten, Wien. He is an author or co-author of about
